Who we are

FAROLMETHOD runs websites and booking operations for tour and activity operators, from Portugal. For anything about your data, write to hello@farolmethod.com.

What we collect

Only what you type into the audit form: your name, your business, its website, and how bookings reach you today. With it we keep the time of the request and your IP address, to stop spam.

The site counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and keeps no personal profile. There are no ads, no tracking pixels and no cookie banner, because there are no cookies.

Why

To reply to your request and prepare the audit you asked for. That is the legal basis: you asked us to (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)). We don't sell it, share it for marketing, or add you to a newsletter.

Where it goes

Three services handle it for us: Vercel (hosting), Google (the sheet where requests are logged) and Resend (the email that tells us a request arrived). Some of them may process data outside the EU, under the EU's standard contractual clauses.

How long

While we're in touch, and no more than 24 months after the last contact. Then it's deleted.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how it's used. Write to hello@farolmethod.com and we'll answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD.
